Bald Sports uses wallets so entries, prize-pool movement, and claims can happen onchain. The app is designed to make this feel familiar, even if you are new to wallets.Sign In
You can create or connect a wallet through the app. Use the Privy or Sign in with Ethereum options shown by the app. Bald does not present Base Account as a separate wallet type.Network
Bald Sports runs on Base. Before entering, make sure your wallet is connected to Base and has the right assets for the action you want to take.USDC
Entries use USDC. Claims are paid from the game prize pool when payouts are finalized.Entry NFTs
NFL Survivor entries are represented onchain by entry NFTs. They are non-transferable at launch, so they cannot currently be sold, transferred, or moved to another wallet. Keep access to the wallet that entered. That wallet is used for the entry’s pick, vote, and claim flow.What You Sign
Some actions ask for a signature. Signing a pick or vote is not the same as sending a transaction. It lets the app record your choice and include it in the game flow. Entry purchases and claims are onchain actions. Your wallet will show those before you confirm.Gas And Network Fees
Bald covers supported network fees for eligible Privy embedded-wallet actions such as entering and claiming. Picks and votes are signed offchain, so they do not consume sponsored gas. External-wallet support differs by wallet. An external wallet may need ETH for Base network fees or may offer its own way to pay gas with another asset. The app should show the requirement before funds move.Gas sponsorship covers only the Base network fee. It never covers the 50 USDC NFL Survivor entry price.
Smart Wallets
Bald supports deployed smart wallets based on their capabilities, not their brand. A smart wallet must pass the app’s compatibility checks for entry ownership, signatures, transactions, and claims before it can be used. Undeployed or counterfactual smart accounts cannot submit NFL picks or votes at launch. Base Account-specific integration is deferred and is not a launch feature.Keep In Mind
