Prize Pool Voting

The prize pool finally gets to play. Eligible NFL Survivor entries vote on where the shared prize pool moves next. Voting runs in Weeks 1–17. Week 18 has picks but no strategy vote.

Four scheduled options

Every ballot contains exactly four strategy options committed before voting opens.

One entry, one vote

Voting power is entry-based. Each eligible entry may cast one vote for that week.

The full pool moves

The winning strategy receives 100% of the managed prize-pool allocation for that week.

When Voting Happens

Week 1 voting opens with the contest’s initial registration window. For Weeks 2–17, voting opens Sunday at 1:00 PM ET during the preceding NFL week and closes the following Sunday at 12:00 PM ET. The next ballot may open while the current week is still being graded or settled. Week 18 has no ballot. If gameplay ends early, unopened future ballots are canceled. Always follow the authoritative timestamps and action state shown in the app.

Voting Eligibility

Voting is entry-based: 1 eligible entry = 1 vote. Picking and voting are separate actions. An otherwise eligible entry does not have to submit its weekly pick before casting its vote. If the prior week’s result is unresolved, the app may accept a vote pending eligibility. It counts if the entry survives and is ignored if the entry is later eliminated.

Strategy Options

Each ballot has four strategy options scheduled for that week. Once a ballot opens, its options cannot be silently changed or substituted. USDC may be one of the four options when Bald intentionally offers it as a stable strategy. USDC is not a permanent ballot option. Execution providers and routes are infrastructure, not additional vote choices.

How A Strategy Wins

The strategy with the most eligible votes wins. If strategies tie, the contest’s predefined option priority resolves the tie. The full managed prize pool resolves to one state:
  1. The selected approved spot exposure.
  2. Return to USDC.
  3. Remain in USDC when the pool is already there or execution is unsafe.
The pool is not split among strategies, and the second-place strategy is not substituted if the winner cannot be executed safely.

What Happens After Lock

An accepted vote is valid if the backend received it before the vote lock. Later onchain publication is separate settlement work. After the Sunday 12:00 PM ET lock:
  1. Eligible votes are tallied.
  2. The winning strategy is queued.
  3. The move is executed after safety checks.
  4. The app shows whether execution is pending, complete, or held in USDC for safety.
Execution should happen promptly but may operationally occur Monday. A publication or execution delay does not block NFL gameplay or the next week’s actions, although unresolved execution does block final claims.

If A Move Cannot Complete

If the winning move cannot be completed within approved safety bounds, the pool may remain in or return to USDC. Bald does not replace it with the second-place strategy merely to force activity.

Risk

The prize pool can rise or fall based on the selected strategy. The 20,000 USDC guarantee is a starting prize-pool floor before strategy performance, not a guaranteed final payout. Bald Sports does not promise growth. Review the four options and their risks before voting.
