Troubleshooting
I Cannot Enter
Check that:- entry sales are still open;
- your wallet is connected through a supported path;
- you are on Base;
- you have at least 50 USDC for each entry;
- your wallet passed the app’s compatibility and screening checks; and
- you accepted the current terms and risk acknowledgement.
I Cannot Make A Pick
The app should show the specific reason. Common causes include:- the week is not open or has locked;
- the selected game’s five-minute early lock passed;
- the game already started, was postponed, or is unavailable;
- the team is on bye;
- that entry already used the team;
- the game is outside Bald’s Week 1 contest slate;
- the entry was eliminated; or
- a previous pick already locked for that week.
I Cannot Vote
Check that the weekly ballot is open and the entry is eligible. Voting is available only in Weeks 1–17. Week 18 has no strategy vote. Picking and voting are separate. The app’s vote status—not whether you already made a pick—is authoritative.My Next-Week Action Says Pending
Beginning with Week 2, the next week can open Sunday at 1:00 PM ET before the current week is finished. If your prior result is unresolved, an accepted pick or vote may be pending eligibility. It counts if the entry survives and is ignored if the entry is eliminated.I Signed, But My Pick Or Vote Was Not Accepted
A wallet signature is only the first step. Look for the app’s backend-accepted confirmation. If the app shows rejected, expired, late, or another disabled reason, the action was not accepted. Do not assume a successful wallet popup means the submission succeeded.My Pick Is Locked But Not Published
A locked action can remain valid while its onchain publication is pending. Publication delay does not reopen the action or permit a late replacement.My Result Is Pending Or Under Review
The app may show a provisional result before official grading. If outcome sources disagree or the result needs review, Bald keeps the game pending rather than guessing. Each game grades separately when its official result is available.A Game Was Postponed
Before your pick locks, the app may disable the matchup and allow a replacement before the applicable deadline. After lock, Bald follows the eventual official result if the game finishes within the same official NFL week. If it leaves that week without a declared winner, affected entries may receive Safe Harbor and the selected team remains used.A Prize-Pool Move Did Not Happen
The winning move may still be queued, pending, or under review. If it cannot be completed safely, the pool may remain in or return to USDC. Execution delays do not block NFL gameplay, but unresolved execution does block final claims.I Need ETH For Gas
Gas support depends on the wallet and action. Bald covers supported network fees for eligible Privy embedded-wallet actions. External wallets may need ETH or may offer their own gas-payment feature. Picks and votes are signed offchain and do not require a gas payment.I Cannot Claim
The app should show which gate remains. Claims require:- final payout-relevant results;
- settled prize-pool execution;
- withdrawable USDC;
- a valid payout root; and
- completion of the payout-root challenge period.
