What Is NFL Survivor?

Pick one NFL team each week. If your team wins or ties, your entry survives. A loss, missed pick, or invalid pick eliminates it. Each team can be used only once per entry.

​

How Much Is An Entry?

Each entry costs 50 USDC. The starting prize pool has a 20,000 USDC guaranteed floor. The guarantee is a floor, not an extra amount added on top of entry fees. At 400 eligible paid entries, fees equal the floor. Entry 401 and every later eligible paid entry adds another 50 USDC to the pool. The platform fee is 0%.

Is There An Entry Cap?

No. There is no total entry cap and no per-wallet entry cap while entry sales are open. Every entry is independent, even when one wallet owns several entries.

Can I Sell Or Transfer My Entry?

Not at launch. Entry NFTs are currently non-transferable. If transfer functionality is introduced, updated rules will be published before it becomes available.

When Do Entry Purchases Close?

Week 1 entry purchases close Sunday at 11:30 AM ET. Use the exact timestamp shown in the app.

What Games Count In Week 1?

Bald’s Week 1 slate contains Sunday and Monday games only. Wednesday and Thursday NFL games are outside the contest slate and cannot be picked. Teams from those excluded games remain available to use in a later week.

When Do Picks Lock?

The main weekly pick deadline is Sunday at 12:00 PM ET. Picks involving earlier Thursday, Friday, Saturday, holiday, or international games lock five minutes before that game’s scheduled kickoff. If you do not pick an early-game team, later eligible teams remain available until the main Sunday deadline.

Can I Change A Pick?

Yes, before its applicable lock. After the lock, the pick is final and the selected team counts as used.

When Does The Next Week Open?

Beginning with Week 2, next-week picks and voting open Sunday at 1:00 PM ET, even while the current week is still being completed. If your current result is pending, the app may accept your next actions pending eligibility. They count if your entry survives and are ignored if it is eliminated.

Does A Tie Eliminate Me?

No. Under Bald’s NFL Survivor rules, a win or tie keeps the entry alive.

What If I Miss A Pick?

A missed or invalid weekly pick eliminates that entry.

​

Can I Reuse A Team?

No. Each team can be used only once per entry. The team becomes used when the pick locks, regardless of the result.

What Happens If Everyone Left Is Eliminated In The Same Week?

If at least one entry alive entering that week submitted a valid pick, only the valid pickers split the pool. If nobody submitted a valid pick, every entry alive entering that week splits the pool. Entries eliminated before that week do not return.

Who Wins If Several Entries Survive Week 18?

They split the distributable prize pool equally.

​

How Does Prize-Pool Voting Work?

Eligible entries vote on one of four scheduled strategy options in Weeks 1–17. The winning strategy receives the full managed prize-pool allocation for that week. Week 18 has no strategy vote.

Can The Prize Pool Lose Value?

Yes. The pool can rise or fall based on the selected strategy. The 20,000 USDC guarantee is a starting floor before strategy performance, not a guaranteed final payout. If a winning move cannot be executed safely, the pool may remain in or return to USDC.

What Chain Does Bald Use?

Bald Sports runs on Base. Entries and claims use USDC.

​

Do I Need A Wallet?

Yes. Use the Privy or Sign in with Ethereum options shown in the app. NFL entry NFTs are non-transferable at launch, so keep access to the wallet that entered.

Do I Need ETH For Gas?

It depends on the wallet and action. Bald covers supported network fees for eligible Privy embedded-wallet actions such as entering and claiming. Picks and votes are signed offchain and do not use gas. External wallets may need ETH or may provide their own gas-payment feature. Gas sponsorship never covers the 50 USDC entry price.

Does Bald Support Base Accounts?

Base Account is not a separate launch wallet option. Bald keeps its existing Privy and Sign in with Ethereum UI and supports deployed smart wallets based on verified capabilities. Base Account-specific integration and undeployed smart-account gameplay signatures are deferred.

What Happens If A Game Is Postponed Or Canceled?

If the game is postponed before your pick locks, the app may require or allow a replacement before the applicable deadline. If a locked game is completed within the same official NFL week, Bald follows the eventual official result. If it leaves that official week without a declared winner, affected entries may receive Safe Harbor: they survive, but the selected team remains used.

How Are Results Finalized?

Games grade individually when official results arrive. If sources disagree or an outcome needs review, Bald keeps the game pending rather than guessing. Claims also wait for payout finality, prize-pool settlement, withdrawable USDC, and the payout-root challenge period.

What Can I Verify Onchain?

Entry purchases, claims, and prize-pool movements are recorded onchain. Picks and prize-pool votes become independently verifiable onchain once they are published. Picks and votes are accepted before their applicable lock and published afterward. Early-game picks may become discoverable onchain during the five minutes before kickoff even while the Bald app keeps that cohort hidden until the game begins.

When Can A Winner Claim?

The app shows when claiming is available. A gameplay winner may be known before every settlement gate has passed. Claims activate only after payout-relevant results are final, prize-pool execution is settled, funds are in withdrawable USDC, and the payout root has completed its challenge period.

Are There Location Restrictions?

Yes. Players must meet the current age, location, wallet-screening, terms, and risk-acknowledgement requirements. Bald Sports may be unavailable in certain jurisdictions.

What Risks Should I Know?

Bald Sports involves real financial risk. The prize pool can lose value, onchain systems can fail or be delayed, and sports outcomes are unpredictable. Do not enter with money you cannot afford to lose.
