# Wallets and USDC

# Wallets and USDC

Bald Sports uses wallets so entries, prize-pool movement, and claims can happen onchain.

The app is designed to make this feel familiar, even if you are new to wallets.

## Sign In

You can create or connect a wallet through the app.

Depending on the available login options, you may be able to use email, social login, or an existing wallet.

## Network

Bald Sports runs on Base.

Before entering, make sure your wallet is connected to Base and has the right assets for the action you want to take.

## USDC

Entries use USDC.

Claims are paid from the game prize pool when payouts are finalized.

## Entry NFTs

Some entries may be represented onchain by an NFT or similar entry token.

Entry NFTs are soulbound. That means they are non-transferable and cannot be sold or moved to another wallet.

Keep access to the wallet that entered. That wallet is used for the entry's pick, vote, and claim flow.

## What You Sign

Some actions ask for a signature.

Signing a pick or vote is not the same as sending a transaction. It lets the app record your choice and include it in the game flow.

Entry purchases and claims are onchain actions. Your wallet will show those before you confirm.
